Stock investors ask: What’s the next big thing?

A year after the stock market began its comeback from 12-year lows, investors are looking for the next big thing. Stocks have lost some of the momentum that propelled the Dow Jones industrial average up 61.4 percent from its close of 6,547 on March 9, 2009. That’s natural — bull markets tend to slow down as they head into their second year. But the lethargic pace of the economic recovery has also been a bit of a drag on stocks. And so investors are waiting for signs that the economy is ready to put up some solid, sustainable growth numbers. loadposition in-article The most likely trigger: job growth. Investors need to see a Labor Department report that says employers are creating more jobs than they’re cutting. Until then, investors are going to stay cautious. Analysts say the market is likely to move sideways or drift higher, as it’s been doing over the past few …

Dispute Letters For Credit Report

Dispute letters for credit reports shouldn’t be a cookie cutter for everyone. They should be personal to you. The letter will have sections that are going to be generic. For example, sections of it where you touch on past law suits and quoting of applicable credit laws. Those parts of your letter you can expect to be generic. That is understandable. You’re telling them you know what you’re doing and you know your rights. When it comes to the actual damage you’ve had because of the mistake, the more personal you can make it, the better. When expressing the damage that you have suffered because of their mistake, make it as real as possible, putting actual anger, frustration and coming across genuinely affected by this on your credit report goes along way. Generate Thousands In Cash On Your Stocks Without Selling Them By Dr. Samir Elias

This small book outlines the author’s success with a stock market strategy known as selling covered calls. A call is simply a “bet” that a stock will go above a particular price within a certain period. The price is known as the “strike” price. The period is a particular month, on the third Friday (that’s standard). It’s easy to understand with an example — AT&T $50 Dec 09. AT&T is the particular stock. $50 is the strike price. December 2009 is the expiration date. If AT&T is selling today at $47, then it must go up. If it goes down, the call buyer will lose money. There’re a lot of books and newsletters on how to make money by buying options. You can often buy them for around $1-$2. If the stock goes up, the option price increases. If the price goes above the strike price, say to $55, you as the…
